This year’s Summer Academy of “Katholische Akademie Die Wolfsburg“, will take place in Mühlheim am Rhein on the major topic of social-ecological transformation under the title “Water: Responsible use of a scarce resource”.

Robert has been invited to give the opening talk to the Summer Academy, explaining how climate change is affecting the water cycle and describing the related global and regional risks as well as societal impacts. He will furthermore provide some insights into his current research on societal water demand and present some possible approaches towards a social-ecological transformation in the water sector.
